iBuyPower has released an image showing off their manufactured Steam Machine, the first of many, which is to be debuted at the Interational CES 2014 expo in January. The image shows the iBuyPower machine running the Steam OS along with a Steam Controller that is being produced by Valve themselves.
One thing that surely stands out is that there is no disc drive; now remember that Valve’s Steam distribution service has been 100% DRM–you know, that thing that people hated about the Xbox One at first and cause Microsoft to change their policy.
iBuyPower didn’t mention any specs, but did say that ALL Steam games can run at 1080p and 60 frames-per-second.
Can't lie... that system looks sexy as hell. Still not a fan of the controller though, maybe once I get it in my hands.
